Code for Greensboro, a local civic tech organization, provided CoMetta with access to volunteers with a background in data analytics to assist with a phenomenological qualitative analysis for ReGenesis Greensboro.
The Regenesis Greensboro poll was administered through Google Forms. 325 responses were collected electronically between May 12th and July 7th, 2020. Twenty of these responses were submitted by interpreters working with residents who speak English as a second language on July 7th. Six duplicated responses were removed, and 3 responses from residents of communities outside Greensboro were removed, resulting in 316 total responses for analysis.
In this analysis process, analytics team members review responses independently to understand key patterns, then refine and validate these understandings during regular conversations. Once the patterns have been solidified into key themes with component categories, the analysis team coded all responses into category groupings which are shared on this site. Raw data is linked to each summary page.
The demographics of the ReGenesis respondents were as follows. Please note that this information was optional to submit and not every respondent did so.
